Mere months after advertising online for a freaky sex friend, Sinead O'Connor married fiancé Barry Herridge on Dec. 8, her 45th birthday.
The Irish singer took a non-traditional approach to the wedding, marrying her new man in a drive-thru ceremony in Las Vegas. After filling out the paperwork, the couple shared vows from the back of a light pink Cadillac at A Little White Wedding Chapel while O'Connor donned a matching pink wedding dress. After a short 10 minute ceremony, chapel employees sang "Happy Birthday" to O'Connor, capping a memorable few months for the singer.
Earlier this year, the "Nothing Compares 2 U" star explicitly advertised online for a "wham-bam" sexual partner. The singer and Herridge, a therapist, met online four months ago, suggesting the search was a wild success.
This was O'Connor's fourth wedding. Her third marriage, to Steve Cooney, ended in divorce earlier this year. The mother of four was also previously married to producer John Reynolds and journalist Nicholas Sommerlad.
