In one striking image from the latest issue of Vanity Fair, a very very naked Lady Gaga is shown posing (again, very naked) for singer-artist Tony Bennett. The crooner is seen standing next to his sketch of the scene; now that piece of art is up for auction on the newly launched eBay Celebrity.
Starting Monday (Dec. 12) you can bid for the artwork, signed in the singer's actual last name, Benedetto. The idea -- realized at Bennett's art studio in Manhattan -- was thought up by photographer Annie Leibovitz.
"I walked in and said, 'Well Tony, here we are' and I dropped my robe and I got into position," the singer explained during her Thanksgiving TV special. "I felt shy and thought, 'It's Tony Bennett, why am I naked?'"
The two, of course, recorded a duet version of "The Lady Is a Tramp" for Bennett's latest album, "Duets II." Also for sale, several items from Gaga's photo spread in the magazine and a signed copy of another piece of art from Bennett.
All proceeds from the auction will go to Exploring the Arts founded by Bennett and The Born This Way Foundation, founded by Gaga.
