3Oh!3's Nathaniel Motte recently told Billboard.com that his group is "stoked" to be a main stage act for Warped's full summer run this year. "It's a rough tour as far as weather and stuff like that," he says, "but it's so much fun and there's so much energy, pretty much like summer camp. We're really excited about it."
Motte said that during last year's Vans Warped Tour 3Oh!3 became good friends with road mates Schwayze and Katy Perry, the latter of whom took 3Oh!3 to Europe as her opening act recently.
Last year's Vans Warped tour grossed $13.2 million and drew more than 482,000 fans to 34 concerts, according to Billboard Boxscore. The trek featured performances by Paramore, Gym Class Heroes, Jack's Mannequin, Against Me!, Pennywise, Reel Big Fish, Cobra Starship, Every Time I Die, Pennywise, Motion City Soundtrack, Angels and Airwaves, Aggrolites, As I Lay Dying and the Academy Is..., among many others.
