U.K. rock act Keane was joined by producer Jon Brion on stage last night (Dec. 7) for several songs during its 14-song set at the Largo Theater in West Hollywood.
The group, whose current album, "Perfect Symmetry," was produced by Brion, completed a trio of promotional dates last week with the stripped-down Largo performance. The evening began with singer Tom Chaplin playing two songs unaccompanied on acoustic guitar.
The industry-heavy crowd responded well to new songs "The Lovers Are Losing" and "Spiralling," alongside previous U.K. hits like "Everybody's Changing" and "Somewhere Only We Know", the latter of which was enhanced by a two-piece string section.
Keane now returns to its native England for a string of holiday performances and is expected to come back to North America in the spring for a full tour.
