'Kiss Land' album due out at the end of the summer.

The Weeknd has announced a 28-date fall tour to coincide with the release of his sophomore album, "Kiss Land."

The Canadian R&B artist will kick off the trek on Sept. 6 at Vancouver's Orpheum Theatre, and will visit impressively sized venues like Los Angeles' Greek Theatre and New York's Radio City Music Hall during the run. Anna Lunoe and Banks will provide support on the North American tour, which concludes with three hometown shows at Toronto's Massey Hall.

After earning acclaim for a trio of mixtapes in 2011, the Weeknd (real name: Abel Tesfaye) released all three as "Trilogy" on XO/Republic Records last November. The release has sold 355,000 copies to date, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Meanwhile, "Kiss Land" is due out "at the end of the summer," according to a press release. The title track was issued last May as a preview of the album.
