Following through on his promise of an assured benefit show for victims of the Oklahoma Tornado that ravaged the area this week, "The Voice" judge and Oklahoma native Blake Shelton has organized a "Healing in the Heartland" concert/telethon to air on NBC live on Wednesday (May 29) at 9p.m. ET/PT.

It will also air on CMT, Style, G4, Bravo, E! on either a live or delayed showings.

"Everyone has their way to help, and mine as an entertainer is to perform to help raise money and awareness for this tragedy," said Shelton, who is organizing and will headline the telethon. "This is why I want to do this special and especially hold it in Oklahoma City, which is near ground zero."

"I'm hoping it will raise a lot of money," Shelton told Billboard.
