Watch the indie act's suds-soaked debut of the "Modern Vampires of the City" track.

Vampire Weekend don't need to head to the club -- or sing a pop anthem -- to open the champagne.

In the lyric video for the band's downcast "Ya Hey," the track's debut, robed actors shake, spray and mash bottles behind the crawl of the lyrics up the screen. The video then cuts to a rooftop, where a woman shakes a bottle at night against the backdrop of the Chrysler Building, with kids in "Ya" and "Hey" shirts jumping as the nonsensical, titular chorus arrives.

The band finally joins the celebratory fray in the closing moments, as the Rolling Stones-referencing song gains a hint of "You Can't Always Get What You Want" altitude from a choir's vocals.

The group's third album, "Modern Vampires of the City," is due May 14.
