On March 8, PSY teased his 2.3 million Twitter followers with a message announcing his hotly anticipated follow-up single to the viral smash "Gangnam Style":

Then shortly thereafter, PSY broke the big news about his widely anticipated new single via a one-minute YouTube video and his own take on the "Harlem Shake."
In the video, with his signature slicked back hair, he announces, "On April 13, 2013, my new single will drop globally! To commemorate the release, I will be holding an exclusive concert titled, "HAPPENING," at Seoul World Cup stadium in Korea! I'm going to do a concert in Korea. You can see it live on YouTube. Just for you " PSY’s new single is set to drop on April 13.
The Korean rapper, who stormed the world music scene last year with his mega-monster hit "Gangnam Style," chose his homeland, Korea, to kick off his single. The Seoul concert is expected to pull 50,000 fans. Last year, PSY drew 33,000 to his "Summer STAND, 2012 The Water Show" concert.
After the release of “Gangnam Style” in July, PSY became an international celebrity by reaching the No. 2 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. But possibly even more remarkable, his “Gangnam Style” video became the most watched video in the annals of YouTube. The single is still hanging in at No. 27 on the Hot 100.
In related news, PSY has released a remix EP of “Gangnam Style” with features Diplo, Afrojack, 2Chainz and Tyga.
