French indie rockers to headline Maryland festival along with Kendrick Lamar, Passion Pit, and others
Phoenix have announced a first wave a concert dates to support their upcoming album, "Bankrupt!"
The French indie rockers will be making a stop at the Sweetlife Festival, a "music and food festival" planned for May 11 at Columbia, MD's Merriweather Post Pavilion. Also on the bill are acts like Kendrick Lamar, Passion Pit, Solange, and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
Leading up to Sweetlife, Phoenix will play their first North American tour dates since wrapping promotion for 2009's "Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix." The tour starts March 28 at Vancouver's QE Theatre and includes a stop at the two-weekend Coachella.
"Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix" won the 2010 Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album, and featured the hit singles "1901" and "Lisztomania."
