Bieber had loaned car to a friend, was not inside
One month after being involved in a roadside incident that involved the death of a paparazzo, Justin Bieber's infamous Ferrari has again tangled with the law.
According to TMZ, the car was pulled over by authorities in West Hollywood at approximately 1:30 a.m. for a tinted windows violation. Bieber himself was not in the car, apparently having loaned it to his friend, rapper Lil Za. Once police investigated, it was revealed Za was driving without a license, which led to him being taken into the back of a police car. Shortly after, he was cited and released.
On Jan. 1, rapper Lil Twist was pulled over in Los Angeles for driving the same Ferrari (again, without Justin in the car) for a speeding violation, which led to the death of a paparazzo who was struck by another car while photographing the incident. Afterwards, Bieber remarked he hoped necessary action was taken to protect the lives of celebrities and journalists of all stripes in the future.
Recently, the pop singer premeired a new breakup song, "Nothing Like Us," which appears on his just-released "Believe Acoustic" album, via his Billboard cover story.
