The documentary series will cover the making of Ke$ha's "Warrior" in April.
“Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life” chronicles the singer during the recording of her album “Warrior” and as she traveled the world.
“You might have heard my voice on the radio, seen me onstage or in a music video, but that’s only a part of the story,” Ke$ha said in a statement. “With this documentary series I’m revealing a more complete picture of what my life is really like. It’s not all glamorous, but it’s all real.”
Ke$ha’s filmmaker brother, Lagan Sebert, shot the footage over the course of two years. The network says the series will show Ke$ha attempting to find love and have normal relationships as her fame increases. Lagan and filmmaker Steven Greenstreet followed Ke$ha with a minimal crew; Dr Luke (Lukasz Gottwald), Jack Rovner, Ken Levitan, Lagan Sebert, and Tony DiSanto and Liz Gateley are the executive producers.
Ke$ha’s most recent single, “Die Young” (Kemosabe/RCA Records), peaked at No. 2 on the Hot 100 and her album, “Warrior,” reached No. 6. Recent appearances on MTV include a New Year’s Eve performance in 2012, "10 on Top" and the O Music Awards.
