14 Hot Bonnaroo Cameos And Covers From Saturday

Kanye, Kings of Leon, Nas on the bill.

The official lineup for the Governors Ball, set for June 7-9 at New York City's Randall's Island, just went public -- and it'll include chart-topping names such as Kanye West, Kings of Leon, Nas, and a mysterious "to be announced headliner," currently blacked out on the official flyer.

In its third year, the 2013 Governors Ball marks its first year as a three-day festival, following a two-day stint last year and a one-day opening in 2011. A limited quantity of discounted early bird tickets (covering all three days) go on sale Jan. 25. Tickets can be purchased at the festival's official website.

The festival will be Kanye West's first show as a solo headliner in NYC since 2008 and Kings of Leon's first show in NYC since late 2010.

The lineup favors indie rock acts, with a handful of rappers and dance acts tossed in. Aside from the headliners, other notable acts include Hot 100 underdogs like The Lumineers and Of Monsters and Men, hip-hop visionaries Kendrick Lamar and Azealia Banks, and one of last year's breakout R&B stars, Miguel.

In addition to music, the festival will feature activities like life-sized Connect 4, ping-pong, and other games. Guests braving the June heat will have access to eight free water refill stations as well.

The biggest names on last year's lineup included Major Lazer, Passion Pit, Beck, and Modest Mouse, so the presence of Mr. West marks a sizable uptick. His performance will mark his first New York City date as a solo headliner since 2008.
