Two of the biggest names in pop will descend on NBA All-Star Weekend in Las Vegas for performances. Christina Aguilera will headline the Feb. 18 game's halftime show, which will also feature Toni Braxton. Meanwhile, Blige will perform as part of "NBA All-Star Saturday Night" the evening before at the city's Thomas & Mack Center.

Ted Leo, Sebadoh, Autolux, Annuals, the Donnas, the Dandy Warhols and Vic Chesnutt are among the dozens of acts confirmed for the 2007 Noise Pop Festival, to be held Feb. 27-March 4 throughout San Francisco. Clinic, the Comedians of Comedy, Midlake, Richard Swift, Jolie Holland, Zach Rogue, Will Sheff, Earlimart and Josh Ritter will also play.

Among the music-themed films that will be screened is the Roky Erickson documentary "You're Gonna Miss Me" (Erickson will also play his first show in the Bay Area in 25 years), the fan-shot Sonic Youth documentary "Sleeping Nights Awake" and "Far Off Town: From Dunedin to Nashville," which centers around the Clean's David Kilgour.

Indie rock act the Comas will issue its Vagrant debut, "Spells," on April 17. The 10-track set was produced by Bill Racine and follows 2004's "Conductor," released by Yep Roc. The Comas will tour this spring, including an appearance at the South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas, with details to be announced.
