Ryan Adams will be releasing his next album, "Easy Tiger," on June 5 via Lost Highway. This will be the prolific New York-based singer/songwriter's ninth effort and his first studio set since releasing a trio of records -- "29," "Jacksonville City Nights" and "Cold Roses" -- in 2005.

The 13-track set features members of his band the Cardinals, who were credited on "Cold Roses" and "Jacksonville City Nights." Adams produced the effort himself, which a spokesperson described as "more 'Cold Roses' than [his 2003 effort] 'Rock N Roll.'" Adams already previewed some new material, including "Goodnight Rose," whilst touring last year.

While Adams did not release any complete albums to retail last year, it doesn't mean the artist wasn't hard at work: the 32-year-old streamed nearly 11 albums worth of material to his Web site last year. The tracks included Adams performing hip-hop tracks as "DJ Reggie," as well as some parodies, covers and garage rock originals.

As previously reported, Adams will make a guest appearance on Jesse Malin's upcoming album, "Glitter in the Gutter," on March 20 via Adeline Records.
