A judge will rule next week on whether testimony from Phil Spector's ex-girlfriend will be allowed his murder trial. Court papers say Devra Robitaille told investigators the legendary record producer twice pointed a gun at her head.

Both incidents allegedly happened decades ago. Prosecutors say her claims show Spector has a "long history of gun-related violence directed at women."

Authorities allege Spector shot actress Lana Clarkson to death in 2003 in the foyer of his California home. The coroner's office called it a homicide, but also noted Clarkson had gunshot residue on both of her hands and may have pulled the trigger.

Jury selection in the case is to resume April 16.
