After a bitter 2001 split with Victory Records, rock act Thursday is returning to the label for a retrospective CD/DVD release, due out before the end of the year.

The as-yet-untitled project will feature an audio disc with three new songs, rare tracks and B-sides, while the DVD chronicles Thursday's career to date with interviews, live material, a documentary on the making of the group's "Full Collapse" album and other behind-the-scenes footage.

"A lot of the footage from this DVD was taken during the time we spent on Victory and we thought it was appropriate to release it with them," Thursday's members said in a statement. "On a more personal note, many of you know that our parting with Victory was bitter on both sides and we're taking this chance to put that behind us."

For now, Thursday has yet to make a decision on which label will release its next album, expected in 2008. The group left Island after two albums in March.
