Superstar country duo Brooks & Dunn will return Oct. 2 with its new Arista Nashville studio album, "Cowboy Town." First single "Proud of the House We Built" is already No. 17 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart in its sixth week on the tally.

"This really is kind of like cowboys meet the Rolling Stones," group member Ronnie Dunn says of the new album, which was co-produced by Tony Brown. "There's a bunch of fun stuff on there. And it sounds different than anything we've ever done."

"Cowboy Town" is the follow-up to 2005's "Hillbilly Deluxe," which spawned four Hot Country Songs hits with the title track, "Play Something Country," "Building Bridges" and "Believe."

The duo will play two stadium dates with Kenny Chesney in the coming weeks and will then return to the road with Alan Jackson for a run that begins Aug. 24 in Little Rock, Ark.
