Singer Amy Winehouse was arrested today (Dec. 18) in London on suspicion of attempting to interfere with a court case involving her husband, Sky News reported.

Amy Winehouse was arrested today (Dec. 18) in London on suspicion of attempting to interfere with a court case involving her husband. Police questioned the 24-year-old singer and released her without filing charges, her publicist said in a statement.

"She attended a police station voluntarily and at a pre-agreed time," the statement said. "She was arrested but that is common practice for someone being interviewed by police."

Police wouldn't identify the singer by name but confirmed a 24-year-old had been arrested during an appointment at a police station in connection with an investigation into attempting to interfere with the course of justice.

Winehouse was released on bail and ordered to return to a London police station in early March, police said.

The singer ecently canceled all concerts and public appearances for the rest of the year on doctor's orders. Her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, was ordered held in custody in London last month on charges of perverting the course of justice stemming from a case in which he is accused of assaulting a barman in June.

Fielder-Civil allegedly tried to interfere with a witness' testimony, according to court documents.

Winehouse has been dogged by reports of continued drug use amid a flurry of canceled concert dates. She was recently spotted walking outside of her London home wearing a bra and jeans, with no shoes, looking distressed.
