"Nashville Star," the country talent show that helped launch the careers of Miranda Lambert, Chris Young, Buddy Jewel and Lance Miller, will move from USA Network, where it has aired for the last five seasons, to NBC this summer.

The show, which was hosted by Jewel and Cowboy Troy last year, has not yet announced who will host or judge when it debuts on NBC. Past judges have included Blake Shelton, Randy Owen and Naomi Judd, among others. Previous hosts have included LeAnn Rimes and Nancy O'Dell.

The winner of the last installment, Angela Hacker, released an album on Warner Bros. Nashville. Past winners have been signed by Sony BMG and Universal Records South.

A 20-city casting search for this year's talent will kick off in early February. The show was created by Reveille, LLC and is produced by 495 Productions.
