Plain White T's have released the track list for their Sept. 23 release, "Big Bad World" (Hollywood). The 10-song album was recorded in Malibu and Chicago, produced by Johnny K and mixed by Andy Wallace.

Singer Tom Higgenson told Billboard.com last week that "Big Bad World" will be a departure from the band's previous work. "It definitely doesn't sound too much like any of our peers as much as our last album or last few albums have," he said. "I think this will stand alone stylistically and is kind of in a way a songwriting celebration from the '50s and '60s."

The Chicago-based band also will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at the recording process with an online series called "Meet Me in California." The series will run from July 30 through October in 12 five-minute webisodes on abcfamily.com. Higgenson also will appear on a Sept. 26 episode of "Sesame Street," where he'll sing a song about the letter "T" to the tune of the band's hit "Hey There Delilah."

Plain White T's will tour Europe next month before embarking on a fall North American arena tour.
