All Tomorrow's Parties will launch its first Australian events in January. Native sons Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds will curate and perform at the shows, which run from Jan. 8-19 at a variety of venues.

First up is a Jan. 9-10 run at Victoria's Mt. Buller Ski Resort, featuring Spiritualized, the Saints, Robert Forster, Silver Apples, Michael Gira, F*ck Buttons, Afrirampo, Harmonia, James "Blood" Ulmer, Bridezilla and the Necks.

The same lineup will then head to Sydney's Cockatoo Island for shows on Jan. 17-18. ATP is sponsoring headlining gigs in Brisbane from F*ck Buttons, Harmonia and Afrirampo from Jan. 12-16, and Cave, Spiritualized, Forster and Ulmer will play there on Jan. 15.

In other ATP news, tickets are already on sale for the 2009 edition of the upstate New York event curated two weekends ago by My Bloody Valentine. The date for next year's show "is moving forward a couple of weeks to avoid Rosh Hashannah," organizer Barry Hogan tells Billboard.com.

"We're hoping to announce the curator at the end of the month," he adds. "I think people will be pretty blown away."
