Michael Phelps -- now the most decorated Olympian of all time -- attended the 2016 VMAs (Aug. 28) as a celebrity in his own right, of course -- but it turned out he was there as a fan as well. While introducing Future (who was present to perform his hit "Commas"), Phelps revealed the answer to the question on everyone's mind: what was he listening to when he made that instantly meme-worthy face earlier this month at the Rio Olympics?

"I was in the zone with Future's track 'Stick Talk' blaring through my headphones," he told the crowd. "There's no rapper more inspiring today than Future -- it's right there in his name."
