Miley Cyrus' Wrecking Ball struck again at the VMAs.
Twitter has released the data from the time during Sunday's ceremony, and it's no surprise the awards show was a big talking -- and tweeting -- point. According to @NielsenSocial, there were 12.6 million tweets in the U.S. about the #VMA airing.
The top three tweets-per-minutes moments were Cyrus winning Video of the Year -- and subsequently turning over her speech to Jesse, a homeless teen -- with 138,792 TPM. Beyonce's performance, along with Jay Z and Blue Ivy's subsequent on-stage appearance, had 97,153 TPM, and Lorde's win for Best Rock Video took third place with 89,029 TPM.
Undisputed star of Vine? That'd be Best Audience Participant Taylor Swift, of course.
