Before taking the stage at Billboard's 2012 South By Southwest showcase at ACL Live on Wednesday night (Mar. 14), R&B maestro The-Dream chatted with Billboard.com editor Tye Comer about his forthcoming album, "Love IV MMXXII," as well as his many high-profile collaborations. The-Dream (real name: Terius Nash) discussed working with divas like Mariah Carey, Rihanna and Beyonce, and shared a few of his dream collaborators.
"I'm going to work with Shakira at some point over the next couple of months," says The-Dream, "and she was always on my wish list, because she's another one of those females, a great female artist." As for his dream of working with Chris Martin of Coldplay? "That's just a Jay-Z phone call away," he says.
