Just before his backstage interview at the Billboard Latin Music Awards, Spanish singer David Bisbal received a loving smooch -- from a dog.
"It was with a lot of passion, and of course, was very slowly, with tongue," Bisbal joked backstage at the April 24 event with Billboard's Justino Aguila. "Oh my God, we're talking about the dog, of course!"
Later, the two discussed some of Bisbal's rituals before he performs for fans. "I pray a lot," he says. "I stay with my musicians 20 minutes before. It's very hard when you travel a lot, because you miss your family and friends. But the music gives you a lot of positive things."
On April 23, Bisbal co-headlined a performance at the LIV Nightclub at the Fontainebleau Hotel with Puerto Rican star Luis Fonsi for the Billboard Latin Music Conference’s 25th anniversary concert.
On the red carpet before the awards, Bisbal talked about his newest single, "No Amanece," from his new album, "Tú y yo."
"The new single is a special song by Vega, a Spanish singer and songwriter, and it's a beaituful song," he says. "I felt with that song some kind of connection with my fans, because now I'm touring and I can feel the passion and power the people give to me with that song."
