To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Billboard Latin Music Conference, Billboard partnered with VEVO  and delved into its video library, going all the way back to 1989 to find the videos of the top songs of the year spanning a quarter a decade. Our video selection was based on chart position and performance and, we confess, some nostalgia. While most of these tracks won Hot Latin Song of the Year at the Billboard Latin Music Awards or were finalists for the award, others were simply landmark songs that made a lasting impact. Regardless, they are all lasting hits that needed to be memorialized in this list, spanning not only years, but also trends.
