While the Beatles outrank Mariah Carey for most No. 1 Hot 100 hits (20 to 18), Carey leads all acts for the most weeks at the pole position: 79, ahead of runners-up the Beatles' 59. Rihanna (51) and Boyz II Men (50) follow. Helping Carey and Boyz II Men to such lofty levels: they are the only acts with two hits each that have spent at least 14 weeks at No. 1.
