Nicki Minaj Gets Exorcised in 'Roman Holiday' Grammy Performance: Watch

Taking a page from Madonna after her elaborate Super Bowl performance last Sunday, Nicki Minaj unveiled a new song, "Roman Holiday," with a complex, "Exorcist"-riffing performance at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday night (Feb. 12).

After entering the Staples Center in Los Angeles with a man dressed as a bishop on her man, Minaj began her Grammy performance by raging against a fake priest with a few bars from "Stupid Hoe" as well as a warped take on the "West Side Story" classic "I Feel Pretty." The live show then segued into a video segment that found the Young Money rapper possessed by her trouble-making alter ego, Roman Zolanski -- and in need of an exorcism.

As the main performance of "Roman Holiday" began, Minaj was found chained to a wooden board as hooded priests pranced around her. Smoke billowed, fires burned, and eventually the rapper began levitating over the stage without breaking her flow.

While the studio version of "Roman Holiday" went on sale immediately after Minaj's performance, a new song, "Starships," will premiere on Ryan Seacrest's radio show tomorrow. Both songs, along with "Stupid Hoe," will be included on "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded," Minaj's sophomore album set for release on April 3. On Sunday night, Minaj lost out the Best New Artist trophy to folk-rock act Bon Iver.
