Five months after her death, Joan Rivers won her first Grammy Award for best spoken word album thanks to her Diary of a Mad Diva album.
"If my mother was here tonight, she would not only be honored and thrilled to win, she would most likely have it copied and on the air on QVC by 11," daughter Melissa Rivers says on her mother's behalf.
"It's a difficult moment," Melissa Rivers told E! of the win, noting that her mother was only nominated for one previous Grammy. Watch Melissa Rivers react to the Grammy win here:
