Maroon 5's Adam Levine: My Grammy Moment
By Matt Diehl

Before a new crop of Grammys are handed out Sunday (Feb. 10), hear from past winners about what it's like to receive the coveted honor.
Maroon 5 won Best New Artist for their hit-filled 2004.
ADAM LEVINE: “We were nominated for two and lost the first category to Los Lonely Boys. ‘She Will Be Loved’ lost to their song, which upset me, but I loved those guys so I didn’t care. Then we were nominated for best new artist against Kanye West and I was saying, ‘ OK, guys, good game.’ And we won. I was so genuinely shocked—and I don’t get shocked—started firing off random facts like Ricky Bobby in ‘Talladega Nights’ when he doesn’t what to do with his hands. I was so flabbergasted. I couldn’t even function.”
