Kesha performs at the 2015 LA Pride Concert on June 13,  2015 in Los Angeles, California.

As part of Billboard's Fan Army Face-Off 2015, we've asked people to write about what being part of the fandom means to them. Read below for an essay from a Kesha fan; her fans are called Animals.

You can be a victim or you can be a warrior. The Animal fan base lives by the ways of Kesha. We're a cult of rabid misfits that love to party and have fun. Although we may seem crazy, we're actually really nice. We spread love to everyone on earth as Kesha has taught us to do. No matter what type of person you are, Animals are willing to accept you, as long as you don't cross us.

Kesha Wins Round in Nasty Legal Battle With Dr. Luke

Kesha has taught us to be ourselves unapologetically no matter what. We're not afraid to do the unthinkable. Everywhere we go we're representing Kesha. Some of us are so crazy we have gone to 1D concert with Kesha's book and preached out of it. Then there's others who will run up to Kesha's bus and knock on the door. Not only do we do crazy things for her, were also super loyal to Kesha. We patiently wait for new music even if it takes a few years. We stay bonded through everything. The fan base is a group of crazy Animals living life to its fullest.

Kesha's Birthday Card to Dr. Luke Added to Defamation Lawsuit

If anyone tries to mess with us, we will tear you to shreds. People like Perez Hilton and Dr. Luke have been learned this the hard way. We protect our queen no matter what. Kesha's music and ways of life are so uplifting and everyone should live by her ways. The Animal community is like a family -- we stick together till the end.
