Following the breakout success of her Mac Miller-assisted single "The Way," 19-year-old pop singer Ariana Grande has set a date for the release of her debut album, "Daydreamin'" -- although she's not quite ready to let it slip.
BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS
"It's late August," Grande told Billboard of the album on the Cambio blue carpet at the 2013 Billboard Music Award. "There is a date set. We have a track list set. Now I just have to get in the booth and sing a little more, finish it up."
The Republic Records artist -- who was on hand at the Billboard Music Awards to introduce Justin Bieber's performance -- recently watched "The Way" debut at No. 10 on the Hot 100 chart; the song currently resides at No. 12 on the tally. Last month, Grande told Billboard that her debut album was largely produced by Harmony Samuels, who has collaborated with artists like Kelly Rowland and Ne-Yo and worked on "The Way" with the Nickelodeon star.
Speaking of which, Grande is also readying the first season of the new Nick series "Sam & Cat," a spin-off show for her "Victorious" character Cat Valentine. Grande says of the new show, "It's action-packed and fun and really playful -- [it's] not so serious."
