The singer-songer, producer has something special in store for his performance of "Adorn" at the Billboard Music Awards tomorrow (May 19), airing live on ABC from Las Vegas.

"I'm always looking for something that I haven't seen before," he told Billboard. "[Also] something that's going to make an impact [by] using simple elements but creatively so it makes people think a bit."

Miguel recently collaborated with Mariah Carey for her single, "#Beautiful." The duet between both singers continues to make an impact on the charts, currently at No. 24 on the Hot 100.

"Mariah [Carey] is, she is so fast. Her mind is is extmrely sharp," he said of the songstress. "I didn't really know what to expect, how involved she would be creatively but ... she was really behind the vision of '#Beautiful' being a duet between her and I. The video went with all of that. She's a mastermind."

Besides working with Mariah, Miguel plans to push out two more singles from "Kaleidoscope Dream" and will continue to work on his upcoming three-EP series similar to "Art Dealer Chic."
