American Music Awards: Luke Bryan, Karen Fairchild, Charlie Puth and Meghan Trainor to Perform Duets

Luke Bryan, Karen Fairchild of Little Big Town, Charlie Puth and Meghan Trainor will deliver “all-star” duets at the 2015 American Music Awards, organizers announced today.

Bryan, a triple winner of the favorite male artist – country category, will perform the world premiere of “Home Alone Tonight” featuring Fairchild, in what will be her first time on the AMAs stage without her bandmates.

Also on the night, Trainor will team up with Puth to perform his single “Marvin Gaye,” while Trainor will treat the AMAs audience to a rendition of her platinum-certified song “Like I’m Gonna Lose You,” lifted from her hit debut album Title.

They join a line-up of previously-announced star-performers which includes 5 Seconds of Summer, Selena Gomez, Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato, One Direction, Carrie Underwood and Walk The Moon

ABC will air the AMAs live from Los Angeles' Microsoft Theater on Nov. 22, with Jennifer Lopez performing and hosting for the first time.

Taylor Swift is the most nominated artist at this year's awards with six, though The Weeknd, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Nicki Minaj and Meghan Trainor aren’t far behind. AMAs nominees are based on key fan interactions as reflected in Billboard Magazine and on Billboard.com, including album and digital singles sales, radio airplay, streaming, social activity and touring. These measurements are tracked by Billboard and its data partners, including Nielsen Entertainment and Next Big Sound.

Additionally, the AMAs and Twitter are launching custom Twitter emojis for all performers. To activate the emojis for the newly-announced artists, tweet the hashtags #LukeKarenAMAs (for Luke Bryan and Karen Fairchild) and #MeghanCharlieAMAs (for Charlie Puth and Meghan Trainor).
