Travis Barker got into a heated fight with paparazzi on Sunday (Feb. 21) in Calabasas, Calif., and TMZ has video of the clash, which reportedly turned violent and resulted in either Barker or one of his friends slashing the photographers' tires. Police officers eventually arrived on the scene, but no arrests appear to have been made.
Early this morning, the Blink-182 drummer took to Twitter to justify his reaction towards the paparazzi. "When i defend myself/my kids that don't make me a tough guy," Barker tweeted. "I was outnumbered and threatened so i did what any man would."
"I'm not a socialite out begging for that kind of attention," the drummer continued. "I'm a family man out wit my kids. Don't get the 2 twisted."
Speaking of kids, Barker's 6-year-old son, Landon Asher, doesn't appear to be a fan of the paparazzi, either. Back in October, X17 cameras caught the Barker family again strolling in Calabasas, and Landon shouted, "I don't care if you want to put it in a magazine, just top taking pictures!" If that doesn't make the paparazzi feel guilty, nothing will.
