Gabourey Sidibe's Mother Sings on 'America's Got Talent'

"Precious" star Gabourey Sidibe's mother, Alice Tan Ridley, has been singing on the subway platforms of NYC for years, but on Tuesday's epsiode of "America's Got Talent," the proud Mom finally got her moment in the spotlight. The 58-year-old Tanley wowed the "America's Got Talent" judges and audience last night by singing Etta James' "At Last."

Sharon Osbourne was impressed. "Alice, millions of people must've gone back and forth on that subway over the 20 years," she told Sidibe's mother. "How come nobody signed you?"
