Will.i.am Boosts Self-Esteems On 'Sesame Street'

You know you've made it when you're asked to sing along with the cast from "Sesame Street."

Will.i.am is the latest musician to join the prestigious right-of-a-muppet collaboration. The Black Eyed Peas frontman and producer hung out with Elmo and friends for the feel-good, self-esteem-boosting anthem, "What I am," which will air during the premiere of the show's 41st season on Sept. 27 on PBS.

Bert, Ernie, the Count, Cookie Monster and more all chime in with positive adjectives to describe themselves - thoughtful, musical, helpful and grouchy (Oscar showed up for a brief cameo to show even grouches have pride in what they are). Will.i.am encourages kids to keep their heads high and always follow their dreams during the ditty while the cast of the PBS show helps out with selected parts of the chorus.

Big Bird and Grover show the most impressive swagger as they swivel their puppet hips to the beat, but it's an adorable number whether you're a muppet, superstar musician or a pre-schooler learning how to count.
