Janelle Monae Rocks The Viper Room For 'Last Call'
Janelle Monae gave a powerhouse performance for "Last Call With Carson Daly."
The singer belted out upcoming single "Cold War" from her debut album "The ArchAndroid" at L.A.'s Viper Room. The singer rocked her staple Victorian-era inspired white blouse as she sang out, "This is a cold war/You better know what you're fighting for."

Sweat poured from Monae's forehead and locks of her braided up-do fell forward as she rocked out with her band. Things became especially frenzied as Monae introduced her guitarist Kellindo Parker for the song's finger-splitting axe solo at the bridge. Monae bounced around the stage and had a mock boxing fight with the air as Parker's fingers weaved over the neck of his guitar.
The performance ended with Monae's raspy vocals repeating, "Are you ready?" as she reached a hand out through the club's smoky atmosphere to the fans.
