Gorillaz Release Film for 'Rhinestone Eyes'

The cartoon foursome Gorillaz released a vividly-illustrated storyboard film for the song "Rhinestone Eyes" Monday (Oct. 4), continuing from where the video for "On Melancholy Hill" left off.

In the previous video for "On Melancholy Hill," Cyborg Noodle, 2D and Murdoc travel in a submarine to Plastic Beach with the collaborators on the album, Lou Reed, De La Soul and Snoop Dogg, tagging along. An unknown creature is spotted as they discover Plastic Beach. The storyboard film for "Rhinestone Eyes" shows Cyborg Noodle shooting wildly at the creature -- a battle scene erupting between the group and its villains.

It's still unclear what the future holds for the characters of Gorillaz, but one thing is certain -- the adventure has just begun.
