Brandy Falls to Third Place in 'Dancing With the Stars' Semi-Finals
There is officially one week left for this season of "Dancing With the Stars" and the competition is more intense than ever. With only one results show standing between the contestants and the final, Brandy took a critical tumble to third place.
It was the R&B singer's Paso Doble to Katy Perry's "Firework" that set her up for a rough start. The judges thought that Brandy's solo performance was a bit rough around the edges and that she came off a little too intense at times. Still, she was able to pull off a score of 27, which would have been a fantastic score during any other show.

Brandy rebounded with her second dance -- the Argentine Tango set to Conjunto Tipico del Tango's "Taquito Militar." She got her first perfect score of the season with her dazzling lifts and impeccable extensions. What made the dance even more memorable was that Brandy made her flawless performance after the rehearsal package aired with her talking in detail about the fatal car accident she was involved in for the first time on national television, despite saying it was something she would never do on a previous episode of her VH1 reality show, "A Family Business."

However, actress Jennifer Grey proved once again that she is the one to beat this season. Of course in the semi-final the "Dirty Dancing" star had no injuries in sight for her semi-final performance. Pulling off a perfect 30 for both her Cha Cha to Duffy's "Mercy" and Waltz set to "Way Over Yonder" by Carole King, placing her at the top of the leader board once again.

It was Disney star Kyle Massey that pulled the biggest upset, though, grabbing a combined score of 58 out of 60 between his Paso Doble, performed to "She's Got Me Dancing" by Tommy Sparks, and the A.R. Rahman's and the Pussycat Dolls' "Jai Ho" Argentine Tango to move ahead of Brandy to second place on the leader board. It was unanimous among all the judges that the young star has the most energy of all the stars competing this season. As the only male star left in the competition, Massey is still giving all competitors something to fear with his absolutely enthralling performances.
