TV on the Radio Tests Out Virtual Reality in 'Will Do' Video

The TV on the Radio guys test out an alternate reality in the trippy, heartbreaking music video for "Will Do." The alt-rock veterans released the clip today (Mar. 24) as the first visual from forthcoming album "Nine Types of Light," due Apr. 12 on Interscope.

In the clip, TVOTR's members strap on clunky-looking, virtual reality suits that transport their senses elsewhere -- guitarist Kyp Malone ends up in a gorgeous field and strums along to the backing track, while singer Tunde Adebimpe relives tender memories with a mysterious woman. "What choice of words will take me back to you?" Adebimpe sings as he remembers the past love and tries to grasp at the illusion.

In addition to the "Will Do" clip, TV on the Radio has revealed Lissie Trullie and Glasser as the primary opening acts for their upcoming U.S. tour, while Celebration, Das Racist and Light Asylum will join the group on select dates. Bassist Gerard Smith will not be part of the trek, after announcing last week that he was battling lung cancer.
