Britney Spears Unveils 'Fatale' Tracks at Las Vegas Performance
Four days before her seventh album, "Femme Fatale," finally hits stores, Britney Spears unveiled a handful of the album tracks during two "surprise" performances at Palms Casino Resort's Rain Nightclub in Las Vegas on Friday night (Mar. 25). Among the new pop confections performed were the former Hot 100-topping "Hold It Against Me," the Will.i.am-produced "Big Fat Bass" and Spears' latest single, "Till the World Ends."
Spears hit the stage twice at the Vegas resort: at 8 p.m. in a ticketed event, and again at midnight for a performance open to the public. Dancing on a small stage in front of a reported 1,000 fans, Spears showed off some spirited choreography while wearing a dazzling silver bodysuit and performing alongside a group of male dancers. "Jersey Shore" star DJ Pauly D, who recently signed a long-term deal with Palms Casino Resort, warmed up the crowd before the pop star took the stage.
On Friday afternoon, Spears let it slip that she would be performing at Rain that night, writing on Twitter, ""Looks like my little secret isn't a secret anymore. Whos coming to watch me take the stage TONIGHT at @RainLasVegas at @PalmsLasVegas? -Brit." As Spears prepares for "Femme Fatale's" Mar. 29 release on Jive Records, the album's first two singles, "Hold It Against Me" and "Till the World Ends," clock in at No. 43 and 23 on this week's Hot 100, respectively.
