POTW: Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz, Geri Halliwell
Alice Cooper and Ke$ha pose backstage after the rocker joined the pop star onstage on Oslo, Norway for a performance of Cooper's hit "School's Out" on July 5.

Both Ke$ha and Miley Cyrus covered famous songs while overseas this week, but Ke$ha's cover had an added claim for legitimacy: the song's original artist.

Alice Cooper joined Ke$ha onstage in Oslo, Norway last night (July 5) as she and her band tore into a cover of Cooper's 1972 hit, "School's Out." Watch the performance below.

Cooper hits the stage around the 1:30-minute mark to a warm reception from the Oslo crowd, while the subversive "Tik Tok" singer bows to her rock'n'roll elder.

Cooper tweeted at Ke$ha after their duet, writing, "Thanks @keshasuxx! Next time our stage, and be sure to bring some bandaids." He also posted a picture of the two together, pictured above.

Three days earlier (July 2) in Perth, Australia, Miley Cyrus covered Gorillaz track "On Melancholy Hill," from the animated act's 2010 album, "Plastic Beach." Cyrus, who is no stranger to unlikely covers, performed the track acoustic as an "anniversary gift" for two of her back-up dancers, she told the crowd. Watch below.
