Jeff Tweedy Talks About Wilco's Future

Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy is a known pro at folk-tinged anthems and alt-rock slow-burners, but what happens when he tries his hand at Top 40? Watch below, as Tweedy launches into an acoustic version of the Black Eyed Peas' "I Gotta Feeling."

Performing at journalist Dan Sinker's "The F***ing Epic Quest of @MayorEmanuel" book release party at the Hideout in Chicago, Tweedy segued from "I Gotta Feeling" into an inspired reading of Peas lyrics.

"This has been very challenging," Tweedy joked. "I really overestimated myself, or underestimated the Black Eyed Peas. I'll give it a shot if you guys don't expect it to be good." "Hilarious" and "awkward" are perhaps more fitting than "good."
