Chief Keef Takes on an '80s Soft-Rock Hit in First 'Bang 3' Single: Listen

Chief Keef is getting ready for the release of his long-awaited mixtape Bang 3 -- a year and a half after it was announced. The project's first single, "Ain't Missing You," indicates that the highly anticipated project might have a pretty unexpected sound for the Chicago rapper, best known for hard-edged singles like "Don't Like."

An Auto-Tune interpolation of John Waite's 1984 hit "Missing You," the new song is a tribute to Keef's cousin Mario "Big Glo" Hess, who was shot and killed in 2014. It's a decidedly chaste and (relatively) upbeat look for the rapper, who uses the opportunity to decry Chicago's violence. Watch and listen to the tribute below:
