Watch 'Turn Down For What' Get a Turnt Up Cover From an 87-Year Old Baseball Legend
Here's something for the category of things you never knew you wanted to see.
There's no denying that former Los Angeles Dodgers manager Tommy Lasorda has a keen mind for baseball, but it is now clear that rapping is not among his strong suits.
The 87-year-old Hall of Famer, who led the team to two World Series titles in the 1980s, posted an amazing video to his Instagram page Monday (March 16) of himself attempting to rap along with "Turn Down for What," the hit single by DJ Snake and Lil Jon. Needless to say, his enthusiasm is more impressive than his execution.
One Dodgers player is apparently willing to give Lasorda more chances to work on his performance. "I guess I know what Tommy Lasorda wants me to use as my walk up music again this year #TurnDownForWhat #LA @Dodgers," tweeted Justin Turner, the team's second baseman.
Lasorda's post and Turner's tweet can be seen below. Watch the video at your own risk.
