The spellbinding FKA Twigs videos keep coming. Just after introducing her self-produced music video/elegantly-branded ad for Google Glass, she’s dropped a brand new music video for “Video Girl.”

In “Video Girl,” Twigs sings about wanting to be known for more than her past as a dancer in music videos. In the new clip, she still shows some moves, but dancing is only part of the attraction. The cinematography follows the song’s ebbs, flows, and false ending with eerie precision, following a prisoner getting a lethal injection. What impact does Twigs’ presence have on the macabre event? Check out the video below:

Thanks to buzz from the video, "Video Girl" has been hovering around the top 10 of the Trending 140 today (Oct. 29).

The video was produced by Kahlil Joseph, who recently screened a secret Arcade Fire film collaboration for students at CalArts.

Out promoting this year’s fantastic LP1, Twigs is set to make her U.S. late night debut Nov. 4 on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
