Adrian Marcel

Adrian Marcel first swooned listeners with his 2013 mixtape, "7 Days of Weak," which featured the singer-songwriter overcoming heartbreak.

A year after its release, Raphael Saadiq's protégé returns with his sophomore mixtape, "Weak After Next." The follow-up features a more confident Marcel, with seductive songwriting over a bed of smooth R&B soundscapes. Check out an exclusive stream of the album here on The Juice:

"The new project, I think, really shows my growth as an artist since my debut project and I am very proud of where I am. I feel fortunate to be able to continue to collaborate with amazing musicians and artists and am excited for everyone to hear 'Weak After Next,'" he told Billboard.

"Weak After Next" – hosted by Don Cannon, DJ Charisma and DJ Amen (The Young California Movement) – features Kelly Rowland, Casey Veggies, Snoop Dogg, E-40, Kirko Bangz, and Raphael Saadiq, who executive produced the project. Listen closely and you'll catch a snippet from a 'Maury' show episode, a remake of Drake’s “Girls Love Beyonce” from a female perspective, and more.

Adrian Marcel's forthcoming album, "#GMFU (Got Me Fucked Up)," which features his single "2 AM," is slated for a February 2015 release.
