Outkast Adds Second Hometown Show in Atlanta
Support acts are still TBA for the newly announced September show.
Outkast's homecoming performance at Atlanta's Centennial Olympic Park sold out within an hour of tickets going on sale this morning (June 18), so the hip-hop duo has quickly added another date at the same venue. The Mighty O will hold court on Friday, Sept. 26, while the original show will still go down on Saturday, Sept. 27.
The support artists for the Friday performance are still TBA. On Wednesday morning, the Saturday show's opening acts were revealed to be Kid Cudi, Childish Gambino and Raury.
Tickets for the second show went on sale at 2:00 pm ET today at www.outkastatlast.com. Atlanta's V103, Creative Loading, Rival Entertainment and Bowery Presents will be the show's supporting partners.
If you happened to have been living under a rock since the beginning of 2014, Outkast announced plans to reunite in January, and returned to the stage at Coachella in April. The duo will perform at the Firefly Music Festival in Delaware this weekend.
