Right here, watch Pharrell Williams perform at the Apollo beginning at 9pm ET!
Polymath music phenom Pharrell Williams is performing at Apollo Theater tonight (June 3) as part of the American Express Unstaged series, and right here, you can watch the chart-topping singer/songwriter/producer's concert at the legendary New York venue in a special YouTube/Vevo video live stream webcast directed by Spike Lee! The action begins at 9pm ET.
The Lee-directed Pharrell concert live stream is latest in a series of American Express Unstaged pairings between talented musicians and famous names in film. Previously, Kings of Leon were directed by Fred Armisen, Vampire Weekend was seen through the lens of Steve Buscemi, director Jonathan Demme took on Kenny Chesney and many more.
The concert comes in the midst of a year of wonders for Pharrell, who has seen great heights as the producer and performer who scored a Grammy for Daft Punk's "Random Access Memories," as a featured singer on Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" (which just won a 2014 Billboard Music Award) and especially for his own No. 1 hit as an artist, "Happy," from his new album "G I R L," which debuted at No. 2 and spent several weeks in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 this spring.
